Yummy nacho and salsa
We visited some friends this evening to collect the keys to their cottage in North Uist, where we are going on our holidays soon. We had a lovely chat. They gave me my own nacho and some salsa which was yummy. Caz let me have it as a special treat, even though I’m supposed to be on a diet.
A lovely juicy tomato
Now we are back home from our trip, Caz has put me on a diet because she says my tummy is getting too big and I might burst my stuffing! So I got to eat a lovely juicy cherry tomato for my supper today. It was tasty, but not as nice as the cookies we had the other day. Perhaps I should have a go on my bike tomorrow to try and lose a few pounds.
Anyone for a slice of melon?
Me and Leo ate lots of cookies yesterday, but I don’t think anyone at the party noticed. Today we decided to have a light breakfast and found this rather yummy watermelon. We had to mind the pips though, they looked rather large.
Yummy home made cookies
We had to say goodbye to Mr Duck today, but on our way home we stopped off in Leeds with Caz to meet some friends. They were having a party with lots of yummy food, so me and Leo tucked into some lovely cookies which were just lying around waiting to be eaten.
Now I just need to connect this wire
This is an exciting toy which Mr Duck showed me and Leo today. He keeps it at a the Makerspace, which is where Alistair goes when he wants to blow things up without damaging his house. It was great fun, and I built this excellent machine. I’m not sure what it does, but Leo and Mr Duck were very helpfully watching while I connected it up to test.
This is a comfy place to sit
After a very long journey today, we finally arrived in Newcastle at Mr Duck‘s house. He is having to help Alistair out a lot because he has a broken wing (well, elbow) and has it up in a sling. But we discovered that it’s actually quite a nice warm, comfy place to sit and watch the telly.
