Me and Leo have had fun today finding geocaches with Caz and Alistair. This is us sitting in a big purple one! It was my favourite from the day. I would also like to say that I have enjoyed having my photos taken over the last two years. But I have now decided to retire from the limelight every day. However, Caz it still going to take pictures of some of my friends each day during the new year, and I’m sure I will be in some of them too, so why not keep an eye on the Toybox 2012 blog. I think I might be stuck!

Today I found some nice chocolate coins. They were in a big netting bag and I thought I might be able to get some out. But I think I’m now stuck. Ooops!

We are in hiding

It was a horrid wet day today so me and Leo decided to amuse ourselves indoors. Caz was busy cleaning the house, but she took some time out to play hide and seek with us. We hid in the Christmas tree and it took her ages to find us!

Swim fast, little fishy!

You may remember that I first met the Red Herring the other day – he came out of a Christmas cracker. He has enjoyed staying with us for a few days, but asked if he could go and swim in a proper river. So today me and Leo took him to our favourite bridge over the Chelmer & Blackwater and let him go for a dip.

I wonder what these are?

I found these big golden nuggets today. I wonder whose they are? And they smell of chocolate and nuts – perhaps they will be nice to eat.

Hmmmm, anyone for more turkey?

There was lots of lovely turkey for lunch today. And the leftovers were put under some foil for us to pick at when we wanted to. While they were all off watching some rubbish on the telly this evening, I decided to help myself to some more. I think it’s under here somewhere.

Hello there!

We travelled to stay with friends for Christmas today. It was lovely to see them again so I thought I would have my picture taken with Snowy Bear and Rudolf Bear. Hello!

I wonder what this does?

We went out for a walk this morning to get some fresh air, and came across this big grey machine. Caz thinks it is part of an old sluice gate – whatever that is. I just thought it was a nice place to sit and have a little rest.

This is fishy

I am so full! We went out for Christmas dinner with Caz’s parents today and had a lovely nosh. But there was lots of tasty food. We were all given crackers to pull and they ended up wearing silly hats. They were a bit big for me, but I ended up getting all the nice toys to play with which came out of the crackers. I think this one is a bit fishy!

Anyone for a bit of cheese?

Today we had to do the last of the shopping before going away for Christmas. Our friends know Caz isn’t a great cook, so she has been asked to bring lots of nice yummy cheese and some wine along as her contribution. So we went to the supermarket and brought home the European Cheese Mountain. I helped put it safely in the fridge for now.

We had to go shopping to get the final Christmas presents on our list this afternoon. The town was very busy and my poor little legs had trouble keeping up. So Caz suggested we take a break for cake. I couldn’t agree more! This was a nice little slice of Raspberry and White Chocolate cake. Yum!

Today we put up the Christmas tree. I helped get all the pretty baubles ready to put on the branches.

Is there anything else to put away?

Caz had a play in the studio again this evening and she needed some help tidying everything up again after she had finished. I’m small enough to get into the compartments and make sure it’s all in the right place.
