Relaxing By The Water

Relaxing By The Water

It was another horrid wet day for the most part today, and Caz was busy in her office. But about 7pm the sun looked like it was going to come out, so she took me for a little walk by the canal at Paper Mill Lock.

An evening by the river

An evening by the river

What a lovely day we have had! This morning, Caz had lots of work to do, but we skipped out early this afternoon and she took us to find some tupperware. Then we went to Heybridge Basin and had some lovely Bangers & Mash for tea (you know how much we like them!), before meeting some other friends for an evening of taking pictures.

This is me and Leo sitting by the lock gate looking at all the nice boats. It is obviously the best picture Caz took all evening!

As an afterthought, basins usually have nice things like puddings in them, but we were a bit disappointed not to find any at Heybridge. Oh Well.

Lazing by the river

Lazing by the river

Yay! Another sunny day. Leo and I noticed that Caz was sneaking out this morning to take some pictures when she should have been working. So we thought we would hitch a ride too. We had a lovely little sit by the river while she was running around photographing the brightly-coloured barges. We heard lots of birdies singing too, which is definitely a sign that Spring has Sprung. Maybe we will have to learn which songs they sing.
