Ooops, caught in the fridge!
We had such a lovely cake yesterday that we thought we could have a little bit more today. Mr Duck suggested that we sneak into the fridge and help ourselves to some while Caz wasn’t looking.
But we were caught red-handed! She was a bit cross with us, but we said we were sorry and she let us have some anyway.
900 days of chocolate cake, yum!
Caz bought a lovely chocolate cake with fresh cream today. She said it was to celebrate the 900th day of her Photo A Day project, but we didn’t really care why. Mr Duck helped me and Leo to blow the candles out and we enjoyed the cake, it was yummy.
We brought emergency chocolate!
We were very excited today as Mr Duck was coming to visit us. But about an hour before he was due to arrive, we got a phone call from him saying that Alistair’s car had broken down and they needed to be rescued!
So Caz drove to pick them up and me and Leo went along with some emergency chocolate to share when we got there. All’s well that ends well, they got here safe and sound in the end.
Yummy chocolate all for me!
Some of the folks who Caz works with have some lovely sweeties which they share from time to time. Today, I was given this rather yummy chocolate and nut treat, as a reward for helping. I like working here!
It says “contains nuts” on the side. Is that the choccy? It will be me too, once I’ve eaten it!
Look what hatched!
Caz gave me and Leo some lovely chocolate eggs for Easter today – we got one each.
We were just about to tuck in when we heard tapping noises coming from inside.
All of a sudden, they burst open and these friendly little folks appeared! There were two tiny blue and green aliens in mine (they must have been twins), and a big, huggy sheep in Leo’s.
What a surprise!
Rudolf Chocolate
Mr Duck went home yesterday but left me this nice chocolate as a parting gift. He said he found it in the bottom of Alistair‘s bag when he was hiding in there last week.
Umm. It’s very kind of him – I mean, it’s purple and everything, and has a nice picture of Rudolf the Reindeer on it – but it does look a little bit moth-eaten at the corners.
Perhaps Leo would like it? And I wonder if The Hippy knows he has moths in his bag?
Yummy chocolate egg with choccy fingers to dip!
I had Dippy Egg & Soldiers again today. Different sort of egg, and different sort of soldiers, but still yummy! We sat ourselves down and had a lovely lunch.
