iPhone fun!

iPhone fun!

We enjoyed playing the board game Carcassonne last week at BarCamp Leeds. So we were very happy to learn that Caz has got an electronic version of it on her phone. Me and Leo borrowed it while she was busy working today and enjoyed some games together.

Whose turn is it next?

Whose turn is it next?

This evening, Caz met some friends in the pub for a natter. Me and Leo went along too because we knew there would be some friends for us to have fun with. The pub has lots of games to play, so we decided to have a go at Scrabble with Adam the Lego man and his tortoise mates Claude and Marcus.

Adam is putting down his tile to finish the word Lego, and Leo’s spelling isn’t good (I’m sure ROR is wrong!). So I wonder what I can do with this Z?

Day 145 – Tug Of War

HEEEEEAVE!

HEEEEEAVE!

Thank goodness it was a bit cooler today! But this also meant the Uglies were in the mood for mischief and were getting very excitable indoors. So I suggested they have a Tug of War to get rid of some of their excess energy.

Jeero insisted on being a team captain, and Wage organised the other side. To make it a bit more interesting, they had to tug hard so their first man didn’t fall down the hole in the middle!

I thought I was a very fair umpire, but in the end, Jeero’s team won. He got very excited then and was jumping up and down shouting "We winned! We Winned!"

Can you see me?

Can you see me?

Caz had a meeting out today, so I hopped into the car and took a ride with her. We had time to have a little game on the way there – I was hiding in the daisies, but I’m not sure if you can see me!

Looking for Jeero and Mr Duck

Looking for Jeero and Mr Duck

Caz had a well-deserved rest today, and we had a lovely lie in. After lunch, we were pleased to see Alistair and Mr Duck come to visit. Jeero suggested we play Hide & Seek in the garden, which sounded like fun. I looked for Jeero and Mr Duck for ages, but they were really hard to find. I have a feeling that they will spot me really easily when it’s my turn to hide. Meanwhile, Leo rather sensibly decided to stay indoors and eat a cream cake which Alistair had brought with him.

Day 115 – Anyone For Footie?

Leo in midfield

Leo in midfield

It was day two of BarCamb3 in Cambridge today, and we were enjoying ourselves with Mr Duck. He was off somewhere doing duck business so I asked Leo if he wanted to play fussball. But I’m not sure he’s allowed to kick the ball – isn’t that what the men on the poles are for?

Day 114 – A Game Of Chess

Moving my Horsey

Moving my Horsey

Today we went along to BarCamb3 in Cambridge, and met Mr Duck who had come along with Alistair. There were lots of fun things to do and so me, Mr Duck and Leo found plenty to amuse ourselves with while Caz and the others went to listen to the talks.

As well as table tennis and Fussball, there was a big chess board and I challenged Mr Duck to a game. I’m about to take his Prawn with my Horsey. I’m not quite ready to shout “Check Mate!” but I’m sure I will get there soon.
