Day 144 – Chilling Out

Time for ice-cream in the garden!

Time for ice-cream in the garden!

After yesterday’s exertions, Leo and I are both totally exhausted. So we decided to spend the day relaxing. It’s very hot again, but we had ice cream, which cooled us down nicely. And now the garden is looking so good after our hard work, we thought it would be great to sit in it and chill out for a while.

Sunning myself

Sunning myself

We had another long day in the studio today, so that all the people involved in the programme could practice what they are doing. It was nice and sunny at luchtime, so I went out for a few minutes and sat in the sunshine.

Day 117 – A Pretty Flower

Dandelion flower

It was a lovely morning and we went for a quick walk before getting the train to work. I found this nice little flower and picked it to give to Caz. Do you think she will like it?

Day 101 – Logging The Cache

Where is the cache?

Where is the cache?

It’s been a busy week. I’ve been going to work to help Caz with jobs and Leo has stayed at home and looked after the house while we were out. So we haven’t had much time to go out and play.

But today the sun was out, and Caz didn’t have to go to work, so we all went for a nice walk to look for some tupperware.

It’s around here somewhere – can you spot it?

Day 81 – Hiding Hippy

Can you spot The Hippy?

Can you spot The Hippy?

Today Mr Duck persuaded Alistair [The Hippy] to take us on a tupperware hunting tour. We started on the north bank of the Tyne where the weather was very cloudy and grey. Then we walked through the Tyne Foot Tunnel which was very exciting. When we got to The Other Side (also known as Jarrow), the sun had come out! It was like another country.

I don’t know if you realise, but Hippies don’t like too much sunlight, so this is Alistair trying to hide behind us so he doesn’t get sunburned. Silly Hippy!

Do you like Leo‘s new sunglasses? I think he has turned into a bit of a closet Hippy himself!

Day 60 – Here Comes The Sun!

What's this I see? Sunshine!

What is this I see?

I wasn’t convinced that looking into the crystal ball yesterday was going to work. But this morning, I woke up to see some sunny rays coming through the window!

Here you can see me sunning myself while Caz was at a meeting in town. I sat by the window and enjoyed the sunshine while they all waffled on about busines things.

A lovely day to wish a Happy St. David’s Day to all my Welsh cousins – or should I say:

Dydd Gwŷl Dewi Sant hapus!

Day 46 – My Red Bicycle

Pedal power

Pedal power

Even though it’s not cold enough to do any winter sports today, I felt like doing a bit of exercise. My tum is getting a little bit bigger than it should be. Oops. So when the sun came out I thought I would have a ride on my little red bicycle.
