Day 185 – Water Gardens

It's a bit wet here!

It is a bit wet here!

After our fun day yesterday at Barcamp Blackpool, Caz and Alistair decided to take us to look for some Tupperware today. It was very very windy, and we had to take shelter by this waterfall while they went and did silly the stuff looking for a little pot. At least they took us to a nice tea room later! Most of the time, it was almost too windy for them to stand up, so we stayed tucked up nicely in the bag until we were asked to come out for a picture. This is me, Leo and Mr Duck at the Water Gardens in St Annes.

Day 132 – If You Go Down In The Woods Today

Where is this pesky cache?

Where is this pesky cache?

We managed to go out and find some more geocaches today, but the first one we looked for was in a big wood. We didn’t get lost, but we didn’t find the tupperware box either. In the end, we let Caz and Alistair wander about aimlessly while me, Mr Duck and Leo sat on a tree stump and waited for them to give up their fruitless search.

Day 105 – Big Red Box

Where is the letter?

Where is the letter?

Today we had a surprise visit from Mr Duck, as he was staying nearby with The Hippy. It was a lovely day, so we decided we would all go out for a tupperware hunting session.

On the way, we found this big red postbox. Mr Duck was telling us all about his adventures when he posted himself through the mail. It sounded a bit scary, and a little bit exciting too. But I think I will stick to travelling in Caz’s bag for the moment.

Day 101 – Logging The Cache

Sunday, April 11th, 2010
Where is the cache?

Where is the cache?

It’s been a busy week. I’ve been going to work to help Caz with jobs and Leo has stayed at home and looked after the house while we were out. So we haven’t had much time to go out and play.

But today the sun was out, and Caz didn’t have to go to work, so we all went for a nice walk to look for some tupperware.

It’s around here somewhere – can you spot it?

Day 86 – Contents Safe

We found it, yay!

We found it, yay!

This morning we went for a nice 3.5 mile walk with Caz at a local reservoir which has a Nature Reserve all the way around it. We said hello to the ducks (we like ducks, remember) and other birds we saw, but had a bit of trouble looking out of the window in the twitchers’ hide, as we were too small to see over the ledge!

Never mind, we did find a cleverly-hidden little geocache nearby, smaller than me! So we helped sign the log and let Caz put it back on the hook so we didn’t drop it in the water.

Day 81 – Hiding Hippy

Can you spot The Hippy?

Can you spot The Hippy?

Today Mr Duck persuaded Alistair [The Hippy] to take us on a tupperware hunting tour. We started on the north bank of the Tyne where the weather was very cloudy and grey. Then we walked through the Tyne Foot Tunnel which was very exciting. When we got to The Other Side (also known as Jarrow), the sun had come out! It was like another country.

I don’t know if you realise, but Hippies don’t like too much sunlight, so this is Alistair trying to hide behind us so he doesn’t get sunburned. Silly Hippy!

Do you like Leo‘s new sunglasses? I think he has turned into a bit of a closet Hippy himself!

Day 76 – Bling Bling

Sparkly necklace

Sparkly necklace

Look what I found in a geocache this afternoon – a lovely sparkly necklace!

It was very shiny, and I thought it suited me, but Caz said it was probably best to leave it for the next cacher, so I put it back in the box.
