Day 145 – Tug Of War

HEEEEEAVE!

HEEEEEAVE!

Thank goodness it was a bit cooler today! But this also meant the Uglies were in the mood for mischief and were getting very excitable indoors. So I suggested they have a Tug of War to get rid of some of their excess energy.

Jeero insisted on being a team captain, and Wage organised the other side. To make it a bit more interesting, they had to tug hard so their first man didn’t fall down the hole in the middle!

I thought I was a very fair umpire, but in the end, Jeero’s team won. He got very excited then and was jumping up and down shouting "We winned! We Winned!"

Meet our new friends

Meet our new friends

Leo and me went to London with Caz today, where we met up with some more Uglies. Apparently, our friend Jeero has told his mates he’s found a nice place to live, and so the others have decided to come along too.

I would like to introduce you to Wedgehead, Ox, Babo and Wage. Another new friend Ice-Bat was already at home with Jeero. So now we have lots of friends to play with!

Looking for Jeero and Mr Duck

Looking for Jeero and Mr Duck

Caz had a well-deserved rest today, and we had a lovely lie in. After lunch, we were pleased to see Alistair and Mr Duck come to visit. Jeero suggested we play Hide & Seek in the garden, which sounded like fun. I looked for Jeero and Mr Duck for ages, but they were really hard to find. I have a feeling that they will spot me really easily when it’s my turn to hide. Meanwhile, Leo rather sensibly decided to stay indoors and eat a cream cake which Alistair had brought with him.

Day 125 – High Five

Nice to meet you, Jeero

Nice to meet you, Jeero

I took a wander around the garden today and came across this cheerful yellow chap. Apparently he’s new in town and his name is Jeero. He seemed rather excitable, and keen to make new friends, insisting on giving me a High Five.

So I asked him to come inside to have a cuppa and meet Leo. He jumped at the chance and we had a lovely natter over tea and bikkies.
